DO407 and DO410 Course Updated
Automation with Ansible and Ansible Tower
Learn to centrally manage Ansible projects, scaling to large teams and complex enterprise installations.
Red Hat Ansible Engine is a system administration automation tool that is growing in popularity. It automates repetitive data center tasks, leading to efficiency, cost savings, and improved security. Red Hat Ansible Tower centralizes and controls an Ansible infrastructure by providing a visual dashboard, role-based access control, job scheduling, and graphical inventory management.
The current suite of Ansible courses, Automation with Ansible (DO407), Automation with Ansible II: Ansible Tower (DO409), and Automation with Ansible and Ansible Tower (DO410), have been updated to use Red Hat Ansible Engine 2.7 and Red Hat Ansible Tower 3.3. In addition to the version update, the labs were enhanced to feature a more diverse set of automation tasks.
Trainees can expect to see updates including the new import/include syntax management of loops, UI changes, management of inventory through files in a Git repository, and the new version of the API and how to use it from an Ansible playbook. The Ansible curriculum is dedicated to helping a variety of personas get up to speed on Red Hat Ansible Engine and Ansible Tower in a short period of time.
