Let’s all welcome the Instagram video. After a vast outage for many hours on the 4th of October, the following day, Instagram declared that IGTV was going to disappear.
Instagram promulgated on October 5th that IGTV videos will now merge with Feed video in a new format called Instagram Video. The new feature noting that the company will be increasing the focus toward the use of video Instagram terminates IGTV and launched the Instagram video to make it easier and the face of stiff competition from TikTok and YouTube.

IGTV and feed videos will combine into a simple single format named Instagram video, but the upload process remains the same Click the + sign on the app as usual to create or upload a new video. Instagram introduced new features including crop videos, new filters, and new tags of people and places. Additionally, creators will still be able to cross-post their videos through Stories and share via Direct Messages.
The massive increase in video preview length of Instagram video extends from 60 seconds to 15 seconds. It helps the content creators have to spend more time convincing their viewers to watch the entire video.
